Jumbo has been overlooked for far too long, purely because he is black, large and strong. This big, lovable boy has eyes that would melt even the coldest of hearts. He is a soft and affectionate greyhound with a calm and gentle nature, who loves a fuss and a cuddle. He also loves to run and play fetch, so a home with a decent sized garden that he could bound about in until his heart is content, would be ideal for Jumbo. Jumbo needs an experienced owner who is willing to continue working with his lead training and who is able to manage his keen interest in smaller dogs. Jumbo kennels well with a female hound, and we would happily home him with one subject to successful introductions at the kennels. He has had a succession of girlfriends since he arrived with us at Crossing Cottage but has sadly watched them come and go as they have been adopted, while he waits patiently for his chance of a forever home. He is not suitable to be homed with another breed, or in a home with visiting dogs. Could you be the person that finally says "That big, black hound is the one for me!"?
