An active home Owners who have an interest/experience in reward based training Any children in the household aged 14+
Survivor is a happy and energetic young greyhound, who is adored at the kennels by our staff and volunteers. He really enjoys his walks, and is always keen to get out and explore. He walks well with our other greyhounds and has shown no reactivity to other breeds that he has encountered. Survivor would benefit from owners who are happy to invest some time into training him. He is so happy to see people that he can sometimes get a little bit giddy and over-excited, and needs a gentle reminder of his "four paws on the floor" manners. He does love food and treats, so would respond well to consistent training. Survivor is a handsome hound, with a glossy black coat and an extremely cute little face. Survivor currently has a kennel to himself. He did previously share with a female hound but was a bit too lively for her, so we would prefer for him to be homed as an only dog. Due to his excitable nature, we feel that Survivor would be happiest in an active home where he will not be left for extended periods. An adult only home, or one with older children, would be preferable.
