Lovely little black lady Lulu (Light Up Lucy) is a fun filled 3 year old who is embracing the retired life well and loves her walks, playing in the paddocks with her toys and of course, cuddles.  Lucy can be a little terratorial of her kennel space, so would prefer to be an only pet. A real character, with a gentle but humourous personality, this gorgeous girl would make a perfect pet for a more active family, with older or no children. One of our volunteers took her home and out for a walk recently to give her some new experience and she passed all our tests.   She was fine in their home and on her walk, paid no attention to other dogs they passed and wasn't phased by children at all   She doesn't pull and our volunteer loved the occasional backward glance to check in, followed by a little snuggle.  Our volunteer's opinion 'she really is the most gorgeous girl....so relaxed and we enjoyed her company so much it felt like she was our dog...we almost forgot to take her back to kennels' Please get in touch if you would like Lulu to 'light up' your life
