MORE ABOUT Sakima

Sakima is a stunning, smaller male greyhound who is lively and full of character. He loves his daily walks, and once the initial excitement has worn off, he walks well on his lead. He's sociable with our other greyhounds, and will happily walk alongside them. He has also shown no reactivity to other breeds that he has met during his time with us. Sakima is a greedy little hound, and eats his daily meals as though he's never been fed! Not surprisingly, he also really likes treats! Sakima is a clever boy and is sadly understimulated in the kennel environment. This has lead to him showing occasional signs of stress and frustration. We would love to find him an active home, with owners who will take the time to do some fun training with him. He is extremely well motivated by food, so this should be a pleasure for his new family. He also enjoys his downtime, and is often seen lazing in the sun after his lunch. This affectionate boy likes kisses, cuddles and fuss. Sakima shares his kennel with a little girl called Tadpole, and really enjoys her company. We are confident that he could be homed with another greyhound, subject to successful introductions at the kennels. As a lively boy, we feel that Sakima would be best placed in an adult only home, or one with older children.
