Costa would probably suit a greyhound savvy family, but proving to learn very quickly and become a well behaved boy out and about.
Beautiful 2 year old Costa (Sharkster) at our Monkspath kennels is a gorgeous big, black boy. Being a youngster who never properly raced, Costa is very inquisitive, loves to be on the go and like most greys, craves human attention, especially cuddles and ear tickles. He loves his toys and kennel comforts An intelligent individual, Costa loves to be kept busy. Due to his size (36kgs) and his desire to learn about the big wide world, he would definitely be suited to an active family, with older or no children. He's not keen on small furry breeds but is eager to please so can be easily distracted and trainable. He was recently out and about with one of our volunteers and visited her home. He was straight in, making himself right at home. He walks well on the lead and although at first reacted to a few dogs, once he calmed he wasn't that bothered about them. In the local garden centre he was such a good boy, with good manners and picked out the dog toys he'd like for Christmas...and was astounded when he found out that reindeers sing ;) see pics. He is an absolute gem, and has a big, loving heart. If you think Costa could be your 'cup of tea'....or coffee in this case, please get in touch for further details.
