Any resident children aged 12+ Home where he is the only resident dog Suitable for first time owners
Mitch is absolutely adored by the staff and volunteers at Crossing Cottage. This large, but gentle, boy would love nothing more than a home of his own, as he has had enough of kennel life and can find it quite stressful at times. Mitch walks incredibly well on his lead, showing a calm and obedient temperament. He is relaxed around people and other greyhounds, but can sometimes show a keen interest in smaller dogs. Once his initial excitement has worn off however, he will happily walk alongside them. Mitch is sociable with our other greyhounds, but prefers not to share his kennel. We are therefore looking for a home for him as an only dog. This stunning hound would love a family who can offer him lots of affection, stimulation and moderate daily exercise. If you are looking for your very own 'house donkey', then Mitch could be the boy you're waiting for!
