Spy would be best suited to someone kind and gentle with dog experience. He needs someone who will help him gain confidence at his own pace. A home in a quieter location would be preferable, with a garden for him to enjoy some playtime.
Handsome, happy Spy is our second longest stayer. He is mostly good on the lead and friendly with the other hounds that he knows. Spy has grown in confidence so much since he first came to us, he's really funny and loves showing his cheeky and playful nature now. Spy can still be shy in new places and may be fear reactive towards other breeds - plenty of space, positive reinforcement and slow introductions really help him succeed. He is mostly easy on the lead but needs someone who can manage his strength if he gets spooked/reacts to something. He loves to feel comfy and warm. Given some time, patience and routine, Spy will make a fab pet, we all think he's great!
