Blue would love owners who enjoy walking, going to new places and will continue with some of his trick training he has learned :-) Blue would probably like to be an only pet, as he LOVES attention and would benefit from an adult only home.
Meet BLUE π previously known as Bruce. We rehomed him but he was returned to us in January 2025. He will be 4 years old in August, and is lovely boy! When we had him here he was neutral and calm around other breeds of dog out and about, however we were advised he is now a little more reactive! However we introduced him to Roxy (our medium-sized mutt, aka honorary greyhound), and they were perfect together, so that was positive. We cannot however say this will always be the case, but this was super promising and goes to show with careful and patient introductions, and proper socialising, Blue has the ability to be neutral with other dogs! Blue is well versed to home life, loves people, loves his walks and is very good at letting you know when he wants to be let outside or taken for a stroll πΎ He loves to play, and will bounce around π and he also learned a variety of tricks in his home, and is a quick learner π€© he settles nicely in the pub π»and is a really sociable boy! Blue came back to us because despite being the perfect boy 99% of the time, and in fairness this 1% is not actually him being a naughty boy - Blue needs to be given space and not approached when sleeping. In the previous home Blue had on occasion lashed out when his sleep was disturbed and also when cuddled quite closely as he tried to relax in the early days when settling. He needs a household who understand he needs space when sleeping and recognise this. Blue is NOT an aggressive dog at all, he simply gets startled when in a deep sleep and disturbed. Unfortunately an incident of him being startled unnerved his previous home and this is why he came back to us. They were desperately sad to see him go but as this came as a surprise to them they didnt feel comfortable keeping him π
