Ronnie would make a lovely family pet.
Ronnie is a cheeky, happy boy who loves fuss, toys, and exploring new places. He's happy to amuse himself with his toys, approaching for a fuss and a lean when he's done. Ronnie was lucky enough to be taken home for the day by one of our volunteers would reported that they had a great home visit, happy to invesitgate everywhere in the house but soon settled onto his bed. He loves his treats and and even tried his wife's coffee! More recently he's had a foster weekend with our volunteers who said he settled in quickly and was no trouble in the house, eating well and amusing himself. He was taken to a Cars in the Park event where he coped really well with the crowds and happily accepted attention and was calm around children. He was in the company of lots of breeds of dogs and behaved well, although he did bark at a few smaller breeds but was easy to distract. Ronnie is a little strong on the lead at times but we think this cheeky, happy chappy, who loves a fuss and a lean, will improve with regular outings and training.......he also does funny things with his ears (see picture) So all in all a great dog.
