A Pawfect Match - Clarks Farm

Clarks Farm are a small independent charity based in Essex, known for their impeccable greyhound knowledge and their online presence. They pride themselves on finding loving homes for all the greyhounds in their care. The group’s experience dates to the 90s and there are a group of 12 permanent team members and the amazing volunteers who contribute to make Clarks Farm what it is today. We’ve teamed up with them to showcase five of these gorgeous greyhounds looking for homes; they have even dressed up for the occasion to help you find your Pawfect Match! 

Jinx

Jinx is a sassy, sweet and loveable black female with a zest for life and a heart full of love. She’s outgoing, confident and thrives on human attention. Jinx is four years old and enjoys life to the max. She gets on really well with other dogs and is happy to share her forever home with a canine companion, though she’s equally happy being the only dog, soaking up all the attention. Jinx is great with dog-savvy children, teenagers, and adults, making her a wonderful addition to many family setups. Her adaptable and happy-go-lucky nature ensures she’ll bring endless love, laughter, and light into her new home! 

JoJo

JoJo is a gentle, sweet-natured greyhound who has blossomed with time, trust and patience. Initially timid and shy, she has gradually become a loving, playful, and sassy best friend for those who she bonds with. She would need someone who would be willing to put some time in to build a bond with her. JoJo is only two years old and, we must admit, she looks so adorable in her pyjamas. She would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home or one with older, understanding teenagers, as a busy household would overwhelm her. JoJo adores other hounds and would benefit from living with another confident dog, though she has the potential to be the only dog with the right humans. She is truly special, bringing calm, warmth and love to those lucky enough to call her their own. 

Sprinkles 

Sprinkles is a kind, loving, and outgoing greyhound who radiates happiness wherever she goes. She adores human cuddles and would do well in a home with older children, teenagers or adults, though she’s also perfectly content in an adult-only home. Sprinkles is five years old and is a social butterfly with other dogs! Sprinkles’ kind heart, playful charm and adaptable nature make her the perfect companion for a family ready to give her the love she truly deserves. 

Robby

Robby is a calm, friendly greyhound with an adorable playful side, making him the perfect greyhound to adopt. He is three years old and is very gentle with other breeds of dog. Robby gets along wonderfully with children, being patient and kind during interactions. He enjoys the company of other hounds but is also happy as the only dog, as he loves human attention. Robby has been diagnosed with SLO, an uncommon medical condition affecting his toenails, but thanks to medication and supplements, he is improving massively. He will need lifelong monitoring, but it doesn’t stop him from being a normal, happy greyhound full of love and joy. His adaptable nature and sweet personality make him an ideal fit for a range of homes, whether you're a first-time owner or an experienced home. His sweet nature, incredible social skills and kind heart make him the complete package!  

Lemon

This fun-loving boy has a way of brightening even the darkest days with his playful, silly, and utterly adorable personality. Lemon is four years old and is incredibly social, especially with other greyhounds and humans. He would thrive as the only dog or with another greyhound or two. Lemon is best suited to a home with teenagers and adults, as younger children may be too overwhelming for him. Lemon has been overlooked simply because of his reactivity to other breeds of do. In every other way, he is truly perfect, but his struggles with confidence and social skills around different breeds mean he needs an experienced owner who can help him navigate the world with patience and understanding. Despite this, Lemon has so much love to give and is ready to be the most loyal and affectionate pet.
