A Pawfect Match - Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust
We've teamed up with Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust to showcase a selection of the greyhounds in their care looking for a home this Valentine's.

Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust became an independent charity in 2004 and since then they’ve homed 2,484 different greyhounds! The charity operates two branches, one in South Lincolnshire and the other in Epping, Essex. The team of volunteers, focus on finding loving homes for all the greyhounds in their care. This Valentine’s, let your heart unlatch, and allow an LGT greyhound’s love create the pawfect match!
Bobby
Bobby is an adorable black male with a tiny tail! Bobby is such a happy go lucky boy, that he had happy tail and ended up really hurting it because he wagged it so much. That meant he unfortunately had to have it amputated, but his tiny tail still wags super-fast when he is happy. Bobby turned four years old on the 14th December and enjoyed his Christmas themed birthday in the kennels. He has been in a home before, but it didn’t work out for him due to Bobby trying to be the boss. He’d ideally need an owner who wouldn’t allow him to get away with everything and remains in control of him. An adult only home with no cats would be perfect for this handsome chap!
Penny
Penny is a proud Mumma of 8 beautiful babies and has now retired from her Mum duties. She is looking for a home where she can put her feet up and chill. Penny is a more mature greyhound as she is 8 years old, celebrating her 9th birthday on 12th June. It would mean the world to her and the team at the kennels if she found her forever home soon so she can enjoy home life to the max. Although, the saying is... “age is just a number” and Penny would quite agree; she has lots of energy and is still as playful as a pup! She enjoys snuggles in bed and playing with her toys. Penny gets on well with children and other dogs, plus she is cat trainable with an experienced greyhound owner.
Max
Max is a 6-year-old white and black male who has a lot of love to give. He is a bundle of energy and enjoys being with people. Max takes pleasure in being busy all the time so would need a home environment with owners who are at home throughout the day and are able to walk him to help stimulate his brain. Although once he’s had his walk, he will just crash on his bed and snooze for an hour or so. Max would suit an adult only home with no cats but can be homed with other dogs.
Tom
Tom is the kennel gentle giant and enjoys taking life at his own pace. Tom is a sweet black boy with a fluffy coat, so he gives amazing cuddles. He’s 7 years old and is very calm and loving. Tom walks well on the lead and is great with children but would need to be in a cat free home and an only dog due to experiencing a dog attack before, making him a bit wary of others around him.
Sullie
Sullie is a small black female who is quite wary when she first meets new people. Sullie is quite reserved and enjoys taking her time with life. She is a 3-year-old female and celebrates her birthday in July. Once Sullie is more familiar with her surroundings, and the people within it, she becomes the biggest snuggle monster you’ll ever meet. Sullie would happily home into a family household with children over the age of 8 and with other dogs and is cat trainable.
